If you're wondering how it works, let me explain. The Holloway-Matsuzaka hype-scale is used to rate how big of a hype a "current hot search" will become or already is. We take a look at the Google Trends page and pick out specific stories that either have a certain "hype-potential" or are just too damn funny, and rate these according to the following scale.
1 - small hype-potential, most likely to blow over quickly 2 - some hype-potential, may stay hot for 2 or 3 days 3 - now we're talking, may be a hot search for a week 4 - now this is hyped-up, potential for 2 to 3 week hotness
